Lucid Motors It has officially begun selling certified pre-owned electric vehicles, as well as conventional pre-owned models. The certified pre-owned program, called Lucid Recharged, includes an additional warranty, a comprehensive multi-point inspection, and cars with fewer than 62,000 miles on the odometer.
Only single-owner vehicles are considered for the program. Each qualified EV then undergoes a 160-plus point inspection and, if necessary, undergoes a mechanical and cosmetic restoration using only Lucid-approved parts.

All Certified Pre-Owned Lucid EVs retain their original four-year/50,000-mile manufacturer warranty, but also get an additional 12-month/12,000-mile manufacturer’s limited warranty. Roadside assistance, a clean title and verified service history, a Carfax report, and an inspection report are also offered as part of the Recharged program for the full warranty period.
“A certified pre-owned Lucid Recharged isn’t just a used car – it’s a Lucid reborn,” said Erwin Raphael, senior vice president of revenue at Lucid. “It’s now easier than ever to enjoy the innovation, performance and safety Lucid is known for, along with the added confidence and peace of mind of Lucid-backed reconditioning and additional CPO warranty coverage.”
Depreciation is the name of the game here, and it can give car shoppers some great deals. Now that Lucid backs used vehicles with a factory warranty, the proposition is a little more enticing. Currently, the cheapest pre-owned Lucid listed on the company’s website is the 2023 Air Pure sedan, which retails for $47,498. It’s a four-door luxury sedan with 410 miles and 480 horsepower that comes with all-wheel drive and impressive efficiency numbers.
In comparison, it’s cheaper 2026 Lucid Air Pure It’s available for $62,400, nearly $15,000 more than the used price. The new model comes with a single rear engine with a power of 430 horsepower, but the range is up to 420 miles.
Lucid also sells used cars that are not subject to its certification program and do not receive the additional warranty. It’s selling for less, with the cheapest one now selling on the startup’s website for $45,498 — a 2023 Lucid Air Pure with just under 20,000 miles, all-wheel drive and much of the original warranty still remaining.
As electric car startups continue to operate – sometimes against all odds – initial batches of cars are being offered for sale on the used market, and companies are trying to maximize their revenues by selling them directly to customers.
