The deliverables 2026 Polestar 4 The electric crossover is now officially launched in the US and Canada, six months after the controversial electric vehicle went on sale in the US and two years after the first units rolled off the production line in China.
Despite the delay, this is a big moment for Polestar, as the 4 is now the most affordable model in the US, after the entry-level Polestar 2 sedan, a fan favorite, was discontinued earlier this year due to tariffs.

the Polestar 4 It was initially supposed to go on sale here last year, but the timing changed due to the same tariffs that sealed Destiny 2, a Change of CEO and Some financial problems. The car is now finally being delivered, with the first units delivered by the automaker’s store in Miami, Florida.
In an attempt to make up for the delay, Polestar It is temporarily lowering the starting price of the entry-level crossover by a whopping $10,000. That’s a good deal, no matter what you think of Polestar, and it means $47,800 can put you behind the wheel of a 310-mile electric car with 272 horsepower, rear-wheel drive and 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds.
Opt for the $54,300 dual-motor version, and power output increases to 544 horsepower, resulting in 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. However, the EPA-estimated range drops to 280 miles.
Interestingly, the range ratings for both versions, which are powered by the same 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack, have risen by 10 miles since the Polestar 4 went on sale in June. In terms of price, the Swedish-designed crossover is at least $2,000 more expensive than the rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variant. Tesla Model Y Premium versions, even with discount. However, it doesn’t come with a rear window, which makes it a bit controversial. Instead, Polestar has fitted a camera that feeds live video to the digital rearview mirror.
Production of the Swedish-designed electric car begins in China in 2023, but the North American model is being assembled by Renault in South Korea. This is despite the fact that the company manufactures… Polestar 3which is confusingly larger and more expensive than the 4, in the United States.
